Antique Crochet. A while ago I bought on Ebay someone's mother's stash of crochet cottons and unfinished crochet pieces. There were quite a few motifs like this one and some lengths of crochet lace. This one was the perfect size for the lid. There is a crochet circle of the yarn left over from the reindeer cardigan I made the other week underneath, but not really visible.
