Black Salsify.  Printed, stitched, embroidered and crochet.  Another vegetable that I haven't seen or tasted, found on veggie research.

Celeriac.  Printed and stitched.  You don't usually see celeriac with the leaves still attached.  Not a pretty vegetable, but tasty.

Spinach.  Applique with wool fabric and embroidery.  Doesn't really look like spinach I have to say.  I was trying something using the same fabric as yesterday's dinosaur kale.  Maybe I should call them leafy greens, a more loose description.

Purple Cauliflower.  Embroidery, french knots mainly.  When I looked them up, there seemed to be lots of variations in the purple colour, so that's what I did.

Totsoi or Mustard Greens.  Applique, sort of.  Fabric has a glue which is attached by heat (will stop fraying) then stitched at one point to attach the leaves to the block.  Have heard of mustard greens, but don't know this plant, found on a leafy green search.

Snow Peas.  Crocheted.  My UK family and friends will know them as mangetout.

Watercress.  Applique and embroidery.  I was going to fill the block with all the watercress and stopped at this point to make dinner.  When I came back to it, I really liked how the block looked with just some cress in the corner, so I left it that way.

Chokos.  Applique and embroidery.  Another vegetable with a strange texture and not a lot of flavour.

Capsicum Half.  Knitting first, then felt, next crochet, finishing with embroidery.  The problem with making thing up as I go along is that I might have trouble having a balanced design at the end.  So this capsicum is very similar to the tomato slice I did before.  Hopefully they will balance each other on the quilt.
