I got a new bicycle yesterday. Have been thinking about it for a while. My old bicycle is a mountain bike with lots of gears and levers. I wanted to have something that is simpler to use, so this is an Avanti bike, 11 gears inside a hub (clearly I have no idea what I am talking about so bear with me), disc brakes, and a carbon fan belt type thing instead of a chain (and no grease). I am trying to get fitter and I used to ride all the time, then I got my drivers licence and it all stopped, apart from when we lived in Canberra where there are lots of bike paths. So off for a ride this morning to make sure everything is in the correct position, including me.
