Fungi Dyeing Update
The first pot of brown fungi rendered very little colour. I kept boiling and reducing hoping to extract more, but had very little to dye with in the end. I put a small skein of crochet cotton in to see if how much colour was there. As you can see, not much. The ball of thread is the original colour.
The orange fungi have produced a darker dye bath, so hopefully a stronger colour. The yarn is steeping in it now.
