#The100DayProject. Day 99
Putting the Quilt Together. Ok, so I have a confession: I enjoyed making the blocks so much that they were finished by day 53. Then the quilt was complete on day 71. I have continued to post one block each day because I liked the rhythm of it. The basic challenge of this project is to be creative everyday and post about it. So even though the quilt has been finished, I have been busy every day, the way I posted was my choice.
When putting the quilt together, all the blocks were layed out on the family room floor. They were moved around until it looked like a balanced quilt. Mitchell helped me in doing this, a second pair of eyes was rather helpful. I then carefully stacked each column of blocks from the bottom to the top and numbered them. Took them all upstairs and sewed them together.
