Quilt Corners
I have been gathering craft projects to work on while in Sydney. I thought I would do the next stage of this quilt started in 1990, quilting. When I pulled it out to have a look, I'm not sure what I was thinking when doing the corners, see how in the first photo the corner is cut off. The red stitching, by the way, is the basting, holding it until quilting. Fortunately I have some pieces of the fabric in the stash, so I cut four little triangles. I have unpicked the edging triangle and now they are all pinned in place. That will be the first job of the quilt, sewing the corners, and re-basteing.
