Made this Martha Stewart recipe for dessert last night. Thought it was going to be a disaster. The pastry cracked as it was folded over and wouldn't go back together. Thought the filling would leak out and be all over the tray, but it didn't. It is quite tasty, not chewy. We had it hot, so maybe when it cools it will be quite different.
