Quarantine Knit 9
This one is called Golden Pothos and is the simplest of the blocks. However, I did the most pulling out and re-knitting of stitches with this one. Bit tired the day I was doing it I think, not concentrating.

Quarantine Knit 6
This one is called Hippy Flower. They all have names, I have just forgotten to write them with each post. I have been knitting each day as the pattern is posted, but not posting because I showed all the gnomes in the middle. Today is the last patten, technically it was yesterday, Friday, but being in Australia I see it this morning.

Quarantine Knit 5
When double knitting and there is lettering, by just following the chart the lettering will be back-to-front one of the blocks. I made a copy of the chart and flipped it horizontally then tried knitting the two charts at the same time, rather confusing. So in the end I knitted both sides with the middle blank and then afterwards embroidered in duplicate stitch the Love lettering.

Quarantine Knit 4
Next block in the quarantine knit along with Arne & Carlos. The yarn I have been using for all the blocks are from Bendigo Woollen Mills, a cream and the darker yarn is a multicoloured yarn called Bloom in Peacock (unfortunately a colour they no longer produce, it was in the stash). The colour change in all the blocks, and from block to block is just what comes out of the ball.

Easter Window at Can Do Books
Wizard? Magician? Whatever, watch me pull a rabbit out of the hat. This little gnome is the fifth and final gnome in the window display. The rabbit is one of the Claire Garland of @dotpebble_knits I showed when I knitted it earlier in the month.
All the gnomes have been sold. Thank you to all who purchased the little guys.

Easter Window at Can Do Books
You can see this gnome in two ways: He caught the rabbit and saved his carrots, or He collected carrots for his favourite bunny. The yarn used in his jumper is a hand dyed yarn from Heathermaid. The bunny is a pattern by Claire Garland of @dotpebble_knits.
This gnome has been sold, but the others are for sale and cost $99 each. If you would like a little gnome contact Stephanie at Can Do Books. Their address is 39 Clifford Street, Huntingdale in Melbourne. Phone: 1300 308 261.

Easter Window at Can Do Books
This gnome is ready to settle in. He has his onesie on, blankie in hand, cup of tea and his favourite bunny slippers on. The onesie is in a Wren & Ollie yarn, and the hat is a West Yorkshire Spinners Christmas sock yarn. I showed the cup of tea and blankie when I made them, this is who they were for.

Easter Window at Can Do Books
I made five little knitted gnomes, and they love bunnies. I show each fully over the next few days. The first wears a rabbit-eared hat and carries his favourite bunny everywhere. His jumper is in a Maximoo yarn and jeans in a Fibresmith hand-dyed yarn. The patten is mostly by Alan Dart and I have made quite a few changes.

Block Knitting
Arne & Carlos are in home isolation. To pass the time they are doing a daily video and a knit-a-long. In the first video was a flower block and they also talked about block knitting and showed some examples. It's where you knit effectively two blocks at once on the one needle. One side has the pattern colours one way, the other side has the reverse colours. The blocks are joined and don't pull apart. It is really a brain workout counting how many stitches to do in one colour, but also each alternate stitch is the opposite colour as you work along the row.
