Hibiscus Tea Dye

Look how strong the colour is in the pot.  The final yarn is a lovely muted pink.  I'm going to try again with the tea with a different mordant to see if the yarn can pick up more colour.  I also tried making the yarn more variable (darker in parts and lighter in parts) but that didn't work either.  I think the variation at the moment is because the yarn is handspun and the light reflecting off the plys.
